Etched Damascus Blade , Brass Bolsters, White/Blue-Gray Giraffe-bone handle, Finger Grooves and metallic mosaic pins. The Damascus steel of this knife is nicely etched with a pleasing hollow grind; extremely sharp and holds an edge well. The bone is recovered from ancient giraffe remains in Africa with significant grain character from ageing cracks. A special dying process provides a bit of color that holds up well. The bone is hard and is hand-machined with a die-grinder and then polished for a comfortable grip. Overall length is 9.5 inches, Blade Length is just over 4 inches. Comes with hand-made tooled leather sheath. This knife has a slender grip and finger grooves providing excellent control - center of mass is at the seam between bone and bolster.
